Doctor readies move into palace

November 10, 1948

Princess Elizabeth's gynaecologist, Sir William Gilliatt, will move into Buckingham Palace tomorrow in anticipation of the royal birth. The nurse in charge arrived today.
Britons are "hungry for news and on edge with excitment."
The baby will be the first child for the Princess and her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh.
